I thought to myself "Man, I could really see myself in one of those" so I drove by a lexus dealer on the way home for fun noticed that they were SEVENTY SEVEN THOUSAND DOLLARS!!! That's about 25K more than I was expecting. But I still really like it.

EDIT: According to the website the starting price is $59,850 in Canada which is almost reasonable. The ones I saw at the dealer were fully loaded premium models. I would buy a "base" model.

may I ask what is wrong with a spindle front end? doesn't pretty much all IFS use spindles? I know a solid axle would be awesome but you can't honestly expect something like that on a luxury SUV.

Sorry, while I do hate independent front suspension on trucks I was actually just referring to the design of the lexus grill. I believe the hourglass shape is known as the "lexus spindle grill"

The GX is basically a fancified Prado.

The Prado and 4Runner share a platform, but the Prado has a taller body.

Most of the world only gets the Prado anymore. The 4Runner is only sold in the Americas & Caribbean.

They are still over 40K with 80,000 miles. at that price you would be better off to buy a new one and sell it for 40K in 4-5 years.

My neighbor just traded their black first-gen in on a brand new one, also all black and with dark grey wheels. It actually makes the predator face look halfway decent. But I didn't think it was anywhere near $77,000

$77k is in canuckistan dollars I imagine the same one would be around 60K usd
